TrueSit cookie policy
Version 0.2, 2026-10-11. Effective date: set at launch. Nothing here is legal advice.
1. What we use and where
Cookies and similar storage (local storage in a browser, storage inside our phone apps) keep you signed in, remember your choices, and, only if you agree, measure how the website is used. This policy covers truesit.ai (the website), app.truesit.ai (the web dashboard) and the TrueSit phone and watch apps.
2. Strictly necessary
Always on, because the site or app cannot work without them: sign-in, security, the organization you selected, your theme, and the memory of your cookie choice. They are listed in section 6.
3. Analytics
Off until you say yes. Before a yes, nothing is loaded, stored or sent. After a yes, each page view on truesit.ai is sent to PostHog with a random visitor id kept in your browser’s local storage (no cookie). Turning analytics off later in Cookie settings stops it and deletes the id. The web dashboard and the phone apps have no analytics.
4. Marketing
Off until you say yes, and used only if we run paid campaigns. None run today. If they start, the providers and their storage are added to section 6 before anything loads.
5. What we never use
- Session replay (recording what you do on a page).
- Visitor identification (working out which company or person is visiting).
- Advertising or analytics kits in the phone or watch apps.
- Selling or sharing what we learn for targeted advertising.

Durations for the Supabase cookies are confirmed when the production project is set up. Providers are described at truesit.ai/legal/subprocessors.
7. Your choice
- The banner on truesit.ai offers Accept all, Decline non-essential and Cookie settings, with equal weight. Declining takes one click.
- Change your choice at any time with Cookie settings in the site footer.
- If your browser sends Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track, we treat it as a no to analytics and marketing and do not ask.
- Your choice is kept in your browser for 12 months; then we ask again.
8. Pages for homeowners
The recording notice and the deletion request form use strictly necessary storage only, whatever you chose on the banner.
9. Changes and contact
