Install the phone app

Use this to put TrueSit on the phone you carry into the sit and get it ready to record.

1. Open the install link your company sent you. Org admins find it under Get the app on the Get started list of the Dashboard.
2. Install TrueSit and open it.
3. Sign in (see Sign in).
4. On Before your first sit, choose Allow next to Microphone and next to Notifications. Location is optional and only covers where a sit starts and ends.
5. Next to Mic check, tap Check and run the pocket test (see Run the mic check).
6. Read the consent card under Before you start so you know your state's rule.
7. Record your voice sample under Your voice (see Record your voice sample).
8. Tap Go to today.

If it does not work

• Microphone shows Off: turn the microphone on for TrueSit in your phone's settings, then come back. A sit cannot start without it.
• Notifications are off: TrueSit cannot warn you when recording stops. Turn them on in your phone's settings.
